Job Description

Welding Machine Operator, 2nd shift $16/hr -1st Shift - Ionia
 
Find work at a leading manufacturer of metal stamping and complex welding assemblies for the automotive industry. Local work with no experience needed!

 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Positioning parts according to the knowledge of the unit being assembled.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Starts machine and monitors machine controls.
  • May rework defective welding using hand welding equipment.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Visually examine welding for adherence to specification, and work independently. 
 
The Machine Operator will be working in a manufacturing environment where they will be running a machine making different products. This position is a steady, medium to fast pace repetitive work environment. After your time with Workbox, you will be considered for hire-in!
