Job Description

1st shift - MIG Welder, $17-$20.50 - Fort Wayne

Responsibilities: 
  • Use fixtures to set up parts for manual MIG welding 
  • Examine workpieces to ensure quality
  • Use hand tools, including files, hammers, and snips; power tools such as sanders, drills, riveters, and grinders 
  • Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and other quality documents to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations 
 
Skills:
  • Able to lift to 80lbs 
  • Ability to read Blueprints
  • Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards 
  • You must have your welding helmet 
  • Must be able to read a tape measure 
  • High school diploma or GED preferred 
  • Other various duties assigned by the supervisor
