Qualifications:
  •  Labels freight as per supervisor’s instruction
  • Reports any unusual or unsafe behavior to supervisor
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Assists other checkers when assignment is complete
  •  Uses proper label placement for each consignee; contacts supervisor for label placement information
 
Skills:
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with a RF scanner
  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred
  • Knowledge of labeling procedures
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume fast paced environment

For this position, you will be verifying each order for accuracy to ensure the correct item number, case pack and quantity are being shipped. You will also be responsible for labeling and recording the total cartons of each pallet on freight.
