Tool & Die Maker, $22-30 - 2nd Shift Grandville 
 
Do you enjoy working in a clean and climate-controlled environment where you aren't freezing in the winter or melting in the summer? This is the company for you! 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proper maintenance of the tooling and sensor equipment.
  • Operate surface grinders, CNC machines, Mills and various other equipment to create tooling to match part drawings. 
  • With the proper equipment, create angles, radius, on all tooling to create high quality, tight tolerance parts. 
  • Look for ways to improve and promote quality
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Able to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and production specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Organized, perform work accurately
  • Completion of a state or federally approved apprenticeship program with a journeyman card
  • Must have a variety of machine skills such as mill, lathe, drill press and grinder
  • 4+ years manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills 
  • Metal stamping plant experience preferred
  • Team player, self-starter and goal-oriented person
  • Comfortable learning and using the computer 
 
Work in a clean, temperature controlled, metal stamping facility suppling the furniture, small motor and security industries. Use equipment such as surface grinder, CNC machine, Mills and more to create tooling to match part drawing.
