1st - Technical Phone Support, $16.00- $18.00/hr - Elkhart, IN

Preferred Qualifications:

• Assist in answering technical support calls.

• Modify various parts (such as TVs and cables) per OEM requirements.

• Process all warranty returns (repair and return, damaged/defective units).

• Quality Check (QC) all products from foreign and domestic suppliers as needed.

• Bench test product as directed by supervisor or Sales Rep.

• Test and validate “out of warranty” product for B stock resale.

• Work closely with the Director of Service and Warranty and Sr. Technicians.

• Document all testing.

• Work towards certification for Sr. Technician.

• Maintain the required level of modifications based on sales forecasting

• Assist sales team in setting up shows and product demonstrations.

• Maintain a clean work environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs

• Additional Skills Desired:

• Soldering a plus

• Knowledge of electronics and the RV industry

• 12v knowledge

Ready for a day in the life of a Technical Phone Support; A 1st shift position, answering customer phone calls and assisting them while also testing and modifying equipment and helping where needed. Temporary to hire opportunity!
