Surface Grinder: 22$-26$ - Clawson, MI
 
Looking for a great paying job with the ability to move up with a notable company? Look no further Future Products is currently hiring Surface Grinders!
Surface Grinders are required to setup and work to detail prints. Must have own tools!
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • The work may require interpreting specifications, blueprints, manufacturers' manuals, sketches or similar documents
  • File, grind, shim and adjust different parts to properly fit them together
  • Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and dial indicators
  • Measure, mark and scribe metal or plastic stock to lay out machining, using instruments such as protractors, micrometers, scribes
 
Education, Experience, Training and/or Skills Required:
  • Experience operating any of the following Surface Grinders, ID/OD grinders, Wet Grinder
  • The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High school or equivalent
  • Basic Computer skills
