Job Description

 Sign Installer, $15-20/hr – 1st Shift - Grand Rapids, MI
 
Do you want to be paid to learn and certified in new a trade? 
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Prior Welding experience helpful
  • Previous electrical or mechanical experience 
  • Comfortable working in outdoor elements 
  • Comfortable working with heights 
  • Valid drivers license 
  • Can lift 40-60lbs
 
 Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to weld, or willingness to be trained 
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Ability to understand blueprints/written work instructions.
  • Ability to read a tape measure
     
In this role, you will be working with a licensed sign technician to install signs all over West Michigan. You must be comfortable working in outside elements and not be afraid of heights. The client provides daily safety training and will pay for crane, CDL, and sign technician certifications, which come with pay increases. This position can vary from day to day and will hire you after your time with Workbox!
