Fourslide Setup Operator, $18 – 1st shift, Rockford, MI 

Qualifications: 

• High school Diploma/GED 

• At least 2 years of related experience or training 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, manufacturing environment.

 Skills:

• Read and understand work instructions 

• Blueprint reading  

• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Problem-solving skills are needed to know why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output, and how to fix errors.
  
  

In this role, you will be under minimal supervision, you will be setting up and operating Fourslide Baird Machine to process parts to blueprint specifications, following instructions, and applying knowledge of manufacturing procedures. You will be Identifying problems and making improvements (root cause analysis). Reviewing and investigation, and completion of required daily documentation. Ensure good housekeeping and machine maintenance practices.
