Set Up Tech/Machinist, $17+/hr – 1st Shift - Norton Shores

A Norton Shores manufacturer is seeking Set Up Techs/Machinists to join their growing team on 1st Shift!  Hours are 7:00am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday.)  Overtime may be required. May be required to move to an off-shift once fully trained.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years CNC experience

  • Familiar with blue print reading

  • Strong math skills

  • Tool changing experience (preferred)

  • Experience with basic gages (micrometers, calipers, bore gages, etc.)

 
Preferred Skills:

  • Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is required. 

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repetitively is required. 

  • Able to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, and operational instruction sheets.  

  • Ability to pay attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

 
Set Up Techs/Machinists will be responsible for tooling and retooling machines to ensure products are run correctly and efficiently.
