Job Description
Senior Product Design Mechanical Engineer, up to $50/hr - Auburn Hills, MI
Are you an experienced Product Design Mechanical Engineer? Do you have experience engineering background that you’re looking to put to use at a growing company where you can invest in each other? If so, look no further!
Qualifications:
- Focus on new product research and design using Autodesk Inventor
- Develop, improve, and build current and future technologies
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Research and provide cost analyses utilizing SAP
- Prototyping and testing
- Communication, Documentation and Education are key!
- Help monitor assembly, runoff, and installation.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in designing equipment in cell integration, pneumatics, or hydraulics machinery.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, 3D CAD, Autodesk Inventor; SAP a plus.
- The ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with customers, suppliers, and other business partners with polished communication skills.
- Creative problem solving, detail-oriented and superior organizational skills.
- The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical
audiences.
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working from 7:30/8am-5pm, M-F. In this position, you’d be mainly responsible for new product design, engineering, research, and development. You are given a lot of entrepreneurial type reign in this position, where you can put your creativity and knowledge to use!
