Job Description

Screw Machine Operator Trainee, $16.00/hour Dexter MI

We are looking for employees that would be interested in working in our Screw Machine

Department in a Trainee capacity. All training will be completed on the Day shift, once

training is complete, there may be a need to transfer to the Night shift.

Trainees must demonstrate proficiency in the Drilling department to advance

within the Screw Machine trainee program.

Jo Functions:

Ability to maintain production and quality parts.

Knowledge and skills to read blueprints required.

Knowledge and skills to read micrometers (o.d. mics, i.d. mics,

calipers) required.

Required to sort yellow tagged part’s.

Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Complete other duties as assigned.

This position requires a person who is quality conscious, mechanically inclined and

willing to work in a team atmosphere. A very good attendance record and being able to

work all overtime is required. The ability to work on your own and take the initiative to

complete the required tasks in a timely and organized manner.
