Screw Machine Operator, Up to $20/hr – 1st Shift - Ferrysburg
 
Looking to join a small and locally grown company?
 
Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous screw machine experience is required

  • Previous steelwork recommended

  • Highschool Diploma/GED

  • Attention to Detail

 
Preferred Skills:

  • Determine machining instructions, and sequence of shaping operations

  • Perform machine set up and operation in accordance with current good manufacturing practices

  • Responsible for set-up, troubleshooting and loading of machines

  • Learn and understand the company’s operating systems principles and objectives and the Machinist position’s role in support of these systems

  • Machining Experience (Screw Machines)

  • Reading of Caliper, Micrometer and tape measure required

 
Will be operating production machinery and various machines to cut, edge, and manufacture various products for the office furniture, fueling, recreation, and tooling industry.  Will be inspecting products for defects after production.
