ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment
strategies.
• Research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract
qualified candidates.
• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment and onboarding process.
• Source candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media,
networking events, and employee referrals.
• Responsible for job postings and advertisement processes.
• Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job
descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
• Schedules interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and
selection materials.
• Conduct interviews and assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and fit for the
role and company culture.
• Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers,
directors, and other stakeholders, as needed.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment
process.
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed.
• Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment with selected candidates.
• Follows up with candidates after being hired to ensure aspects of the job are as expected.
• Execute 30, 60, 90-day surveys for newly hired employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records in the applicant tracking system.
• Leads weekly orientation and onboarding of new employees.
• Cross-trains within the HR Department
• Regular reporting on candidate traffic.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to
recruitment and hiring in the manufacturing sector.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on manufacturing or
industrial settings.
• Thorough understanding of EEO hiring practices.
• Working knowledge of mechanical processes and tools.
• Solid and uninterrupted work history with a proven track record of successful recruitment
and hiring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Must be able to use computers efficiently and effectively
• Plus for those with knowledge of UKG and proficiency in MS Suite
• Must be a self-starter
• Please be open to overtime
