Quality Technician II $22 1st-Shift Kalamazoo, MI

Workbox Staffing is hiring a quality technician in Kalamazoo and this could be the job you’re looking for.
Position Summary
Ensures that raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products meet specified standards and regulatory requirements. Responsible for all activities involving quality control and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; Reviews/analyzes data and documentation on raw materials and finished products. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a quality assurance/control field. Relies on
limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works with minimal supervision. In the absence of the department supervisor is able to step forward and demonstrate leadership qualities to the team to complete all tasks as needed.

Minimum requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Chemistry, Biology, or Food
Science is preferred.

Work Experience: Requires 3-7 years of experience in quality control/assurance or in
a related area. Basic lab testing experience is preferred. GC experience is a plus.
Industry Knowledge: Quality Control/Assurance in a food manufacturing environment
helpful, but not required.
