Quality Technician (Inspection), Up to $30.00/hr.  Day Shift - Dexter, MI

Responsibilities:
  • Performs Receiving Inspection of incoming raw Materials & Components:  Inspects incoming raw materials as materials are received and reviews Supplier certifications.
  • Performs In-process Inspection during the machining operations. 
  • Responsible for Inspection Check Sheet creation that may involve a sequence of inspection operations including determining the proper use of inspection tools & equipment. Experience using Ballooning Software for creating inspection check sheets.
  • Prepares Documents & appropriate information for quality inspection reports for each order.Including Protomatic inspection reports and AS9102 FAI Inspection reports.
Skills:
  •   Experience with gauge calibration and gauge tracking control. Verifying/Calibrating Measuring Equipment. 
  • Ability to operate a Coordinate Measure Machine (CMM) with supervision from the CMM Programmer.
  • High School Diploma/GED required Bachelor’s degree preferred 
 
For this position, you will perform an inspection of received goods, in-process Inspection and finished products, and completes all necessary paperwork including Inspection Report and AS9102 FAI Reports. You will also be responsible for measurement tools and equipment Calibration.
