Job Description

Quality Tool Room Inspector, Up to $30/hr. - Livonia MI

Qualifications: 
  • Must have experience performing quality inspections in a Machine Shop
  • Must have thorough knowledge of creating quality reports and maintaining quality compliance with customer demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs 
 
Skills:
  • Able to read measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and gauges
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to understand blueprints/written work instructions
  • Basic understanding of computer programs
This job involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures. Quality control inspectors may work from a variety of locations, from assembly lines to laboratories or a quality control department. This may involve long hours of standing at a time, depending on the location.
