1st Shift - Quality/Manufacturing Engineer, $22+ DOE - Baldwin, MI

Perform tasks involving engineering and quality control related activities. Responsible for creating, documenting, developing, and implementing procedures and documents used to assemble, process, test, and or manufacture the company’s product. Qualifications:

- Assist Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality in creating appropriate documentation to support manufacturing activities

- Use a variety of computing equipment and quality tools, as needed

- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs

- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create components and products

- Utilize hand-held quality checking tools such as CMM equipment, pin gauges, etc

- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified

- Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff

Skills:

- Four year college degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar

- 3-5 years preferred of equivalent work experience 

- Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCad, and MicroSoft Office preferred

- Specific technical or vocational training or certification optional
