Job Description

1st shift - Production, $18/hr - Grand Rapids, MI

 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Timely and accurately complete production schedule requirements
  • Produces ink as required using equipment such as; vertical post mixers, 3 roll mills, and other mixers
  • Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, hoist, and drum handling equipment
  • Operates blanket cutting equipment, bar press, and other equipment to produce blankets
  • Pull, pack, and ship product as needed to fulfill customer and transfer orders
  • Verify inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory
  • Track and record daily activities
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to work as part of a team with focus on performance 
  • Ability to operate equipment in a safe and effective manner 
  • Strong attention to detail in both work activities and admin tasks
  • Previous experience working with metal and/or in manufacturing preferred 
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion 
  • Computer and data entry skills; this includes computer managed production, warehousing, and shipping functions
  • Motivated self-learner
 
The primary responsibility for the Production role is to efficiently produce inks, blankets (a component to the machine), and other products as directed; to receive, warehouse, pack and ship products to meet customer order requirements. Additional responsibilities include processing transactions, completing the beginning of day and end of day processes, housekeeping, and other duties as needed.Get hired-in and enjoy the benefits offered such as health insurance, dental, and accrued PTO!
