Production Associate, up to $22.00/hr, Plymouth, MI

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Load/unload shipments
  • Palletize orders to get ready to go
  • Wrap and label pallets
  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
  • Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
  • Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
  • Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
  • Read instructions to ensure proper mixing of materials
     
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a chemical facility preferred
  • Must be able to drive forklift
  • Shipping/Receiving experience
  • Past Blending/Batch making experience required
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Good understanding of quality control principles
 
This is a combination of Shipping/Receiving and Chemical Batcher-maker role. You will spending part of your day working in the Shipping/Receiving department handling the shipments and palletizing orders and then switching over to the chemical department working as a Batcher-maker, which is gathering materials, reading instructions and mixing batches of paints.
