Processing Worker, $17.23/hr – 2nd Shift - Hart

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Internal GMP/HACCP/SQF Training
  • Trained and knowledgeable in the use of  PPE (personal protective equipment)
  • Must pass respiratory fitness test
  • Be able to lift/pull or push up to 50lbs as needed
Preferred Skills:
  • Prepare totes for processing by removing covers and opening bags prior to loading tank
  • Repair and or reject totes or other materials not meeting specifications
  • Inspect, clean, and sanitize totes and materials for conformance to specifications
  • Prepare totes for finished product by lining with bags
  • Weigh tote containers to verify ingredient quantities
  • Notify supervisor of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems
  • Fill out necessary paperwork
  • Plant clean-up
  • Hand palletize (stack) finished goods onto pallet
  • Operate sizer
  • Sort and package product, poke stems, cut stems and other tasks on moving lines/belts.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Processing Laborers will be responsible for removing covers, open bags, and remove empty bags from totes. Put bags in and syrup/brine totes, make sure the totes weigh out, repair totes as needed, etc. Keep the work area clean and be able to perform moderate to heavy labor.
