Job Description
Process Technician, up to $32/hr - Sterling Heights, MI
Are you looking for a great opportunity? Are you looking to continue your career in the plastic injection molding industry somewhere that you’ll be taken care of and valued? If so, your search is over!
Qualifications:
- Perform all mold changes using Hi-lo
- Loading and saving of process parameters
- Troubleshoot machine, mold and material issues and making process adjustments to correct for non-conformances
- First response to all press, robot, secondary equipment alarms
- Documentation completion as per Work Instructions to meet ISO 9001:2015 requirements in molding area
- Supervision of production staff on shift
- General housekeeping of work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of plastic injection processing experience, including troubleshooting, start up and shut down of machinery is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Toshiba and JSW plastic injection machines up to 200-ton preferred
- Experience with various types of plastic materials
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 3pm-12am, Monday through Friday, but must be willing to work overtime if needed. In this position, you’d be responsible for the setup and operation of plastic injection molding machines to ensure all processes are in control and running to standard at all times producing high quality parts in a safe and productive environment.
