Hot Stamp Worker/Press Operator, Up to $18/hr. - Detroit, MI

Qualifications:
- Education – High School diploma or higher
- Previous experience in a production environment that demonstrates ability to learn multiple tasks is preferred
- Excellent record of attendance (willing to work overtime as needed)
- Ability to perform visual inspections, mechanical measurements, and calibration verifications (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Skills:
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to multitask
- Can operate a computer
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This role is a direct report to the on-site Plant/Production Manager. Are you interested in metal production, Stamping, and hands on computerized equipment? Do you enjoy handling multiple tasks and working in a team environment? Hot Stamp Workers/Press Operators work to manufacture metal products using machines that employ Stamp Press and computerized equipment that inspect the standards of products presented to the highest nobility for production. If any issues arise, they will refer to their supervisor with any outstanding inquiries to improve workflow. Skills validation & employee evaluations can be completed every six months to evaluate knowledge and ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
