 Payroll Specialist - $45,000 Direct Hire - Daniel Island, SC

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm weekly 401K contributions
  • Respond to all union reporting requests
  • Process, enter, and pay weekly 941 tax for WGMA
  • Update HRSA timesheet as required, enter respective data, and distribute accordingly
  • Confirm, enter, and payment of all benefit invoices into accounting system
  • Process, enter, complete, and distribute all monthly union reports
  • Code weekly and monthly payroll for union dues processing
 
Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Diverse HR and/or accounting experience (1 year required, 3 years preferred)
  • Advanced excel knowledge required
  • Work experience with union entities is a plus
  • Accounting software experience; Experience with Sage is a plus
 
Ready for a day in the life of a Payroll Analyst:  You will be completing a lot of payroll reporting (especially Union reporting). This will require sharp attention to detail as Union reporting needs to be error-free. You will also be using Microsoft Excel daily.
