Job Description
1st shift – Paint Mix Technician, up to $18/hr - Hudsonville
Come work for a dynamic company that provides molding, color application, finishing, and assembly for the automotive industry!
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of paint mix experience
- 2-5 years of automotive/manufacturing experience
- Experience with ISO9001
- Hilo experience is preferred, but not required.
Skills:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and stand throughout the entire shift.
The primary function of the paint mix technician is to mix paint to achieve desired adhesion and color match. Other duties include performing tests to determine viscosity, temperature, fluid delivery, etc., quality control and inventory of paint, maintaining records for DEQ hazardous waste compliance, and other duties as assigned.
