Mold Technician, $24.00/hr – 2nd Shift – Zeeland, MI

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Minimum of 3 years experience in injection molding technology or related field

•    Experience in hydraulics, and electrical maintenance repair methods and problem solving
•    The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, repeatedly bend and reach, and use hands to manipulate tools and parts. 

•    The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and frequently crawl under equipment.  

•    Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision and depth perception.
•    The employee is exposed to dirty greasy environments on an hourly basis.  

•    Hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hard hats are required.

Preferred Skills:

•     Computer skills with typing and e-mail

•     Demonstrated Injection molding mold change experience, some experience with molding processing and robotics

•     Quick mold change experience/training

•     Fanuc, Motoman, Sepro, and Cincinnati molding machine experience

The Mold Technician is responsible for the initial start-up and processing of all molding machines, robots and auxiliary equipment. Will participate in the set-up and sampling of new, transferred, and modified molds; ability to debug and take corrective action on molds and processes as necessary.
