Mill Machine Operator, 3rd Shift - $17.50/hr. – Milan, MI

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the operation, start-up, and setup of the mills including adjustments during the run time

• Sets up the weld box, and ensures the quality of the tube and the weld

• Performs weld checks and tests

• Ensures proper alignment and thickness of the coil on the mills

• Performs preventative maintenance on the machine (oiling and hydraulics)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.)

• Able and willing to work any shift assigned, weekends, and overtime

• Must have previous mill machine operating experience;

The mill operator is responsible for the daily set-up, maintenance, and running of the tube mill performing all duties and operating machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.)
