Job Description

Mig Welder, $18/hr  – 1st Shift - Fruitport

A company specializing in the original equipment manufacturer that produces steel laboratory and office furniture is seeking Mig Welders to join their dynamic team!  
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools to assemble product
  • Will load and unload various robotic weld machines
  • Responsible for packing and prepping the products for shipment
  • Responsible for ensuring that workstations are properly cleaned 
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to do repetitive lifting up to 75 lbs as needed
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills are required
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Previous MIG welding experience is required'

Mig Welders will be responsible for loading and unloading robots and doing small spot welds to ensure the quality and the integrity of the product is up to company and client standards
