1st Shift - Metal worker/Brake Press Op, $18-$21 - Fort Wayne, IN

Qualifications:


  • Comfortable building things and working with your hands
  • Ability to learn and be flexible with daily tasks
  • Perform as a team member
  • Keep a steady work pace without immediate supervision
Skills:

  • Assembly experience
  • Break Press Op. Experience 
  • Construction or furniture assembly experience
  • Keep a steady work pace without immediate supervision
  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to work with multiple mediums such as wood, steel, aluminum, and more!
  • The ability to weld is a plus

This company specializes in cabinetry making, with a focus on stainless steel cabinets that can be found in airlines around the U.S., Canada, Europe, Central, and South America, etc. Tasks will vary in this position depending on the strengths and capabilities of the candidate, along with the need for production. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the use of hand and power tools, be able to read a tape measure, and may do some welding, cutting, and polishing. Individuals with previous experience in roofing, carpentry, construction, etc. will do very well here! Some assembly work may be required as well.
