Mechatronics Assembler, $18.00-$34.00/hr. ($37,440K - $70,720K Salary)
(Depending on Experience) - Greenville, SC
6:00 AM– 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday (Any overtime will fall on Fridays)
 
Direct Hire Position
 
Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand mechanical assembly blueprints and verify part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Perform quality checks on products and parts.
  • Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
  • Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
  • Plan production requirements to meet customer demands.
  • Use operational procedures and work instructions to make good parts or components.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint
  • specifications, and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, and notifying the supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
  • Building and assembling machines.

The Mechatronics Assembler will assemble or fabricate parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to the required specifications with minimum supervision. MUST know how to build or assemble machines as well as have knowledge of measuring parts and have the ability to read and understand drawings. Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all job tasks or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. May participate in making management decisions affecting the finished product when working with management.
