Job Description

Material Planner – Up to $24.00/hour – Saline MI 
 
 
Daily Requirements:
  • Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.
  • Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
  • Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
  • Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
  • Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
  • Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
 
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in related field or 2+ years of related work experience in a Production control/Warehousing environment using an integrated MRP system.
  • 2 years using MRP systems
  • 2 years of related experience in planning and warehousing
 
In this role as the Material Planner you will ensure the appropriate supply of cost-efficient and high-quality materials required to maintain steady production and product delivery.
