Material Handler, $14 - $16/hr, Sterling Heights, MI

Workbox Staffing is hiring a Material Handler in Sterling Heights!
Qualifications:
- Clean and prepare molding machine and grinders for material/color changes
- Oversee the material usage by machine and maintain material levels
- Prepare dryers hoppers and use aux., dryers--identify properly
- Clean and set up grinders at presses--empty grinders at press
- Assist Foreman/Die-Setter during tool changes
- Document and report material usage to production control
Skills:
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Experience in this type of position preferred
- Basic math skills
The purpose of the Material Handler is to move plastic material and prepare the equipment for the movement of materials. Document and report the material movement to production control.
