Machine Operator, $15/hr – 2nd Shift - Norton Shores

A local Norton Shores manufacturer of various metal products for the furniture and industrial markets are looking for Machine Operators to join their growing team on 2nd Shift! Hours are 2:30pm-11:00pm (Monday-Friday). Overtime will be required.

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Previous machine operation experience is preferred
  • Ability to read and input various measurements and reports into computer
  • Be able to sort and process parts "rejects"
  • Help assist in other areas of production as needed
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to use calipers and micrometers
  • Attention to detail is needed
  • Be able to work in a team setting
  • Must be comfortable standing for entirety of their shift.

Machine Operators will be responsible for loading, unloading and assessing machines for any distinct faults by using calipers and micrometers on finished parts to ensure quality standards are maintained to company and client standards.
