Machine Operator, $19 - Ypsilanti

What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform pre-start check, per start-up checklist
- Load line according to schedule and Foreman instructions
- Inspect raw material for cleanliness, contamination and damage
- Monitor machine, assure that machine settings are correct, cycle and current
- Correct or assist in correcting any problems associated with a machine breakdown
- Monitor racks/barrels, assure that racks/barrels are in good condition
- Maintain racks/barrels, make notations on production report of any suspect racks/barrels
- Inspect finished product, prior to dryer, check for coverage and coatings
- Communicate with Supervisor to maintain the minimum production standard
- Accurately complete production report
- Keep catwalks and aisles free from trip hazards
- Always wear proper safety items
- Keep front of machine area clean
Here's What You Need to Apply:
- Keep front of machine area clean
- Previous experience in assembly of machinery, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Basic mechanical skills
- Good communication skills
The Machine Operator will be working in a manufacturing environment where they will be running a machine making different products. This position is a steady, medium to fast pace repetitive work environment. After your time with Workbox, you will be considered for hire-in!
