Production Assistant - 1st Shift -  $17/hr - Dexter, MI

Qualifications:

• Ensure the batch record contains all the proper documents

• Check the product labels prior to use to ensure it matches the job

• Change the product film on the machine as needed and maintain machine ink levels for proper printing

• Check print quality, correct amount, and quality of tablet in pouches

• Fill the machine hopper with the bulk product as needed ensuring the machine maintains a proper temperature range

• Process integrity test as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Attention to detail

• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate and work well with others

• Must be able to lift 20 – 50 pounds at a time

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends if necessary

A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 6am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, and if they’re working overtime on Friday, it’s 6am-2:30pm. In this position, you’d be responsible for loading and unloading the packaging machine that is packaging blister packs with medication. You’d also be responsible for watching the machine as it’s running to make sure the packs have the right amount of medication in them, checking for quality, etc. Attention to detail is very important for this position!
