Machine Operator Feeder, $17.00/hr. – Simpsonville, SC  
 
Workbox Staffing is hiring Machine Operator Feeder in Simpsonville. 
 
This is a Machine Operator Feeder position in the Simpsonville area. This is a position with hard work and good people to work with! Great company to work with whom offers production incentives directly to your paycheck and more when hired on permanently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor product quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, and print.
  • Check equipment for damage.
  • Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
  • Train and assist First and Second Helpers with job duties on the machine.
  • Cross-train on other machines.
  • Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.
  • Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
  • Switch duties with First Helper as necessary.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
  • Adhere to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, and service goals. Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management.
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Corrugated experience preferred but not required
  • Know how to use a Tape Measure
  • Good basic Math Skills
  • Ability to move between tasks quickly and safely
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
  • Hard Worker
 
Skills:
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift (8 times on average in 10 hr. shift)
  • Ability to lift 30—40 lbs. repeatedly a minute throughout (10 hr. shift)
  • Ability to perform very repetitive motions
  • Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours. There are breaks
  • Self-Motivated and easily trainable. Take ownership of work
