Job Description

Machine Builder, up to $30/hr, Romulus, MI

Come work for a local company in Livonia, MI specializing in problem-solving for unique manufacturing challenges.

Essential Duties:

•Supports the manufacture and assembly of automated systems

•Ability to use fixtures, tools, and complex automated manufacturing equipment

•Provides specific solutions to meet application requirements

•Ability to handle any type of automation project

•Demonstrates solid performance

Job Requirements:

•Ability to work in a collaborative design environment

•Ability to communicate with all members of the organization and customers

•Ability to produce equipment from machining systems to assembly systems to forming systems

•Ability to diagnose concerns with automated systems

•Demonstrates the ability of both machine and tooling to function robustly in every application

•Will have the desire to learn and try new things

Qualifications of Machine Builder:

•Proven machine builds and debug skills with a strong desire to advance their skillset and capabilities

•Experience working in Tool and Dye or Fixture making

•Ability to read and understand Assembly blueprints

•Knowledge of assembling robotic cells, integration and automation lines preferred

•Exceptional communication skills required

•3 to 6 years of mechanical assembly experience
