Job Description

1st shift- MIG Welder, $18 - Grand Rapids

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Uses MIG welder to assemble fabricated metal products in an efficient manner to maximize production
  • All position welding required
  • Regulates heat and feed and may select electrodes, tips, and rods
  • Works from more complex specifications, drawings, prints, and welding symbols
  • Must speak and read fluent English
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of the welding process and equipment
  • Certificate from college or technical school recommended
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands, bend, crouch or kneel
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
 
In this role, candidates will be MIG welding at the Steel plant in Grand Rapids. Candidates are responsible for ensuring the metal parts being welded together are being done correctly while meeting the standards required by the company.
