Job Description
Welder (MIG/TIG), $20/hr - 2nd Shift - Wayland

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of analyzing and reading blueprints
- Ability to use a break machine to shape multiple types of metals and primary sheet metals
- Ability to lift, move, and manipulate metals of various size and weight
- Set Up and maintain the machine
- High school diploma and prior press brake experience
- Knowledge of wire, filler materials and gases applicable for various steel alloy
Preferred Skills:
- Analytical skills to monitor work process
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematics
- Ability to take precise measurements
- Knowledge of using all types of measuring and hand tools
- Problem-solving
In this role, you will be responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. Primary responsibility is to MIG and TIG weld. Essential duties and responsibilities include repairs of products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. You will perform finishing, and grinding applications using manual and power tools. Setting fixturing and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) as required as well.
