Job Description

1st Shift - Welder/Fabricator, $20-$22/hr -  Grand Rapids, MI
Come work for a local source for the design, development, manufacture, and installation of bag and unit load material handling systems.
Preferred Skills:
   Mig Welding 90% of time
   Occasional lifting up to 65 lbs.
   Reading blueprints and completing work based on specifications
   Use of all types of power tools (drills, grinders. Cutoff wheels)
   Work with all hand tools (hammer, squares, tape measure)
Preferred Qualifications:
   2 + years of welding (primarily MIG, some TIG) or fabricating
   Mechanical Aptitude
   Overhead crane operation (3-5 tons)
   Extensive blueprint reading
   Occasional forklift driving is required
   Attendance is number one priority! Willing to train but you HAVE to be there
   Desire to learn new skills and develop a career
   Able to lift up to 50 lbs,
   Able to stand, bend, squat and reach throughout shift
   Available for OT
This role will be primarily MIG welding, but candidates will need to be comfortable TIG welding on occasion.  You must be able to read blueprints and must have great attendance!  The working environment is clean and the work is at a moderate pace.
