Job Description
Laser Operator, $15-19 - 2nd Shift Byron Center
Local, Rapidly growing precision cutting machine shop is seeking a skilled, seasoned, detail oriented, and dependable Laser Machine Operator. Are you looking for a position with plenty of overtime? If so, this Byron Center, MI based company is currently working 10-12 hours per day, Monday - Friday.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to run Bysprint & Bystar made by Bystronic lasers.
- Ability to ensure cut plan matches up with paperwork, set up appropriate cutting parameters, make adjustments for nozzle cleaning, lifting height and tabbing if required.
- Familiarity with different types of steel materials.
- Understanding of laser machine programs.
Preferred Skills:
- Blueprint reading
- At least 2 years of specific experience
- Experience changing out cutting heads
- Experienced in Troubleshooting Laser Cutting process
- Able to read, speak, and write in English
