Job Description

Industrial Abrasive Blaster, Up to 22.50/hr - Ladson, SC

Responsibilities:
 
  • To operate and maintain sandblasting equipment for preparing to apply various industrial coatings
  • Operate and maintain all equipment, ventilation, blast pots, and PPE
  • Understand how humidity, temperature, surface profile, etc. affects final product throughout the work process
  • Accountability for completion of daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Employee must wear respirator protection and as required by OSHA regulation shall be fit tested where applicable for a respirator and shall have a medical evaluation performed yearly
Skills:

  • Sandblasting: 2 years (Preferred & will train)
  • Industrial Painting: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Driver’s License (Required)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Ready for a day in the life of an Industrial Blaster:  Start your day at 6am with a friendly and welcoming crew! Safety meetings will happen at beginning of shift. If production goals for the day are met, you will be paid for 8 hours of work. If goals are not met, you will be paid for 6 hours.
