Hose Machanic 1st shift- Up to $25 per hour- Fort Wayne, IN 
 
We are looking to hire a Field Service Mechanic to service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies, to name a few. We are looking for applicants with excellent communication and strong customer service skills. Looking for someone with professional experience in Auto/Diesel/Industrial/mechanics.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Remove and replace hydraulic hoses on material handling, construction, manufacturing, etc
  • Hands-on the job, able to diagnose, replace, manufacture, and install blown hydraulic hoses
  • Carry out service calls in the Fort Wayne area. Area-wise sales calls to prospective clients would be a part of daily working.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
  • 40 hours work week minimum, normal hours 8.00a-4.30p M-F and rotating schedule for on-call
Preferred Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1-3 + years of professional experience in a related field
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Problem Solver
  • Positive attitude/Good behavior
  • Self-motivated
  • A clean driving record MUST
  • Ability to work on-call during nights and weekends
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods and lift to 50 pounds
  • Available for background check & drug screening
  • Can travel for 1 week of training in Florida for product-specific training

As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be operating out of a company service van and carrying out service calls in the Fort Wayne area. As a mobile sales and service technician, you will be tasked with diagnosing, removing, and replacing leaking hydraulic hoses, while maintaining relationships with customers in the area. Sales calls to prospective clients based on defined areas would also be a part of the daily routine.
Job-specific training will be provided.
