Foundry Laborer, $15.00/hour - Muskegon

A Norton Shores manufacturer that specializes in producing aluminum castings for various industries is seeking Foundry Laborers to join their growing team on 1st Shift!  Hours are 4:00 am-1:30 pm (Monday-Friday.)  Overtime may be required.   

This is a full-time temporary to permanent opportunity.  Once hired in, benefits available include medical, dental, vision, Short-term disability, Long-term disability, 401k (match), vacation, paid holidays, and more! 

Skills:

• Grind metal parts according to customer specifications. 

• Inspect metal parts to ensure they meet customer specifications. 

• Pack parts in crates/bins to be shipped out. 

• Follow operational and safety procedures set forth. 

Qualifications:

• Previous buffing, polishing, or grinding experience is required. 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively is required. 

• Able to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, and operational instruction sheets.  

• Ability to pay attention to detail.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Working as part of a team to do grinding of aluminum or bronze parts.
