Job Description

1st shift $12+/hr Baldwin Production Workers

Perform tasks involving physical labor for manufacturing projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare projects, clean up debris and remove excess materials. Potential to learn operating of fabrication machinery.
Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Assist with the assembly, tear down or repair or various fabricated parts through established manufacturing processes. 
  • Use a variety of machinery as needed
  • Complete documentation of all work performed
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs
  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
  • Utilize hand-held tools such as a hand-held screw gun, drill gun, and grinders
  • Operate calipers, tape measures, and other various methods of measuring parts.
  • Prepare skids and package parts for shipping
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair parts and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Complete company provided training to effectively perform required job responsibilities
 
Qualification requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic reading skills and must be able to follow directions
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification preferred
  • Work in a team environment and respect all teammates
Physical demands and abilities
  • Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
  • Ability to operate a fork-lift and an overhead crane
