Production Laborer, $15.30/hour - Montague

A leading global, vertically integrated manufacturer of aluminum and cast iron and machined automotive components providing custom engineering and manufacturing solutions for safety-critical products is seeking Production Laborers for 3rd Shift.  Hours are 11:00pm-7:00am (Sunday-Thursday.)  Overtime is flexible and can be worked before or after the designated shift times.

Skills:

• Tends to a variety of machines

• Lifts castings manually or with a hoist into a machine or machine fixture 

• Loads production lines

• Removes excess flash from parts 

• Monitors equipment in your area of responsibility and notifies the supervisor of any concerns 

• Participates in ongoing training 

• Ensures that safety procedures and operational procedures are being followed

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience is required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively is required

• Able to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, and operational instruction sheets 

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Ability to work overtime is highly preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Working as part of a team to operate a variety of machinery, inspect parts to ensure no visual casting defects, and pack finished parts into a bin or crate.  Additional job responsibilities will be assigned as well.
