Job Description
Fork Lift Driver/Material Handler, $16.20/hour - Norton Shores
A growing Norton Shores company is looking for Fork Lift Drivers/Material Handlers to join their dynamic team! Hours will be 5:00 pm-3:30 am (Monday-Thursday.)
Skills:
Ensure that you are selecting the correct material
Ensure the accuracy of products selected from shelves
Responsible for reading customer orders to ensure the accurate product is selected
Properly load the product onto the fork-lift
Ability to operate an overhead crane to select the proper metal
Ability to do repetitive tasks
Must be comfortable working in a warehouse with warmer temperatures
Qualifications:
Prior warehouse experience is required
Fork-lift experience on sit down and stand up forklifts is required
Strong math and reading skills are required
Ability to work with computer systems is preferred
Ability to work in a physical position with lifting requirements up to 60 lbs as required
Work as part of a team in a comfortable warehouse facility as you select material, stage the material, and prepare it for shipment to customers.
