Job Description
Extrusion Operator, 22+ - Cedar Springs, MI
Work in a clean environment!
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years experience in actual operating of an extruder
- PET plastic sheet extrusion is highly preferred however profile extrusion is acceptable.
- Must be able to work the flexible "pitman" schedule. The company uses 4 crews and 2 twelve/hour shifts to provide 24/4 coverage
Skills:
- Mechanically inclined
- General maintenance of equipment/machines
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting settings on the extrusion line and auxiliary equipment to run the sheet as required thickness, width, roll diameter, and weight. You will run the line at established rates to maximize finished good output and quality. You will also be responsible for performance to production schedules along with performing general maintenance on the equipment as needed.
