Encapsulation Machine Operator - $12.00-$14.00/hr. - 1st Shift  - Travelers Rest, SC 
*Pay is dependent on experience*

Qualifications: 
  • Be able to monitor the line for quality control.
  • Run an encapsulation machine that makes vitamins
  • Cleaning the room and encapsulation machine
  • Adjust lines for different product runs.
  • Read work orders and execute product filling to GMP procedures.
     
Skills:
  • Minor mechanical skills, ability to work with free-floating powders
  • Ability to lift 20-30 lbs.
  • Ability to use a step ladder
  • Maintain quality control checks.
  • Fill out S.O.P. forms before and after runs.
  • Be here on time Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
  • Come to work in uniform: navy blue scrubs. Uniform is not issued.

The main goal of an encapsulation operator is to run an encapsulation machine that makes vitamin capsules. Three stages take place during the encapsulation process: the set-up, the run, and the clean-up. The operator will be trained to set up the machine for different products. Once the product is running, the operator must ensure the quality of the capsules is not impaired. In the case of quality issues, our in-house mechanics will troubleshoot. After the product is finished running, the operator is responsible for cleaning the room and encapsulation machine.
