Job Description
Technician, up to $25/hr - Troy, MI
Are you looking for a great opportunity to make great money and put your wiring and electronic assembly skills to use? Do you have experience with working with wiring harnesses and things along those lines? If so, this is the place for you!
Qualifications:
- Build prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Wire Harness build, design and documentation
- Perform test set-up and testing per engineering requirements
- Recognize, analyze, report and resolve build issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of the build, assembly, inspection, and test documentation
- Receive, log, and organize incoming materials
- Material packaging, shipping and creating shipping documentation as required (other than batteries and hazmat)
- Support inventory control of materials
Skills:
- Minimum of three years experience in related technical field
- Proficient with basic hand tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Hybrid vehicle component systems and/or alternative energy experience preferred
- Previous high voltage training a plus
- High voltage battery assembly and service experience strongly preferred
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working from 9am until 5p, Monday through Friday. In this position, you’d be responsible for assembly and wiring of hybrid and electric vehicle batteries for the growing EV market. This might entail wiring, assembling batteries, looking at diagrams, checking for quality, etc. This is a great opportunity to make good money and put your electrical skills to use!
