Job Description
Die Setter, up to $23.85/hr – 1st Shift - Walker, MI
Work for one of the area’s leading, world-class providers of steel!
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to follow established instructions and quality standards
- Ability to properly set up dies following current standardized set-up instructions.
- Must perform accurate reporting of production quantities
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
Responsibilities:
- Leads in setting up die and related equipment
- Completes entire die changeover from last piece to first piece in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to accomplish die sets, press operations, and troubleshoot of stamping processes in a methodical manner.
- Trained as Stamping Press Operator and is capable of running a press as necessary.
In this position, you will be responsible for working with a team to do changeovers from one part to the next. This position is vital to the workflow in this production facility.
